THIS UNIT WORKS VERY WELL. AS I TRY TO MINIMIZE "GARBAGE" I ordered the 8 gal, and use the larger one for "recyclables". easy to distinguish which one to use, I chose the round one, and I use the square for recyclables. I am very happy with the size (quite ample) for todays recycle requirements.

It’s not easy to find a good trashcan in the store, and I had gone through many of them. Until I cross on this one, I had like the color how it functions, and I read through the reviews and decided to buy it. It arrived fairly quickly and it was easy to install. You do have to buy the batteries. You can use like a little screwdriver if you have one. I actually install like for trash bags inside to avoid having to take one every week or depending on how much trash there is. It’s very functional smarts, and easy to detect hand motions. It arrived quickly, and I absolutely love this trashcan. I’ve gotten comments of weird that I buy it. I would have to say that this item can’t be found at target or other places I recommend this product. Its easy to clean and keep the odors away. I think I’ve been using it for three months already, so far no problems.
